Comment: The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful.

Comment: The food was good, particularly for the holiday price, but unexceptional.

Comment: The room itself was clean and well equipped, if small. It also had some nice touches, as did the hotel overall. However the shower was poor, and it was very difficult to regulate the temperature Also the room’s location in the hotel – on the first floor at the back, next to the kitchen vents and above/near some additional outside fans – meant that it was exceedingly noisy. We both had two extremely bad night’s sleep – it was too noisy to sleep with the windows open and too hot to sleep with them shut. It was such a shame, because overall the hotel was nicely furnished, conveniently located and the staff were lovely. I appreciate that we cannot expect sea view etc rooms at the rates charged, but I would only stay at this hotel again if we could be guaranteed a front room. I would expect to pay extra for this.
