Dance Holidays at Torbay Court – Paignton, Devon

The Torbay Court Hotel is a comfortable 50 bedroom hotel in a private cul de sac just off the Paignton Esplanade/Seafront and 10 mins stroll from the main thoroughfare which leads into the town centre. The Durrant Hotel Bideford and The Wessex Hotel Street are sister hotels in the same group and guests can expect the same standards at the Torbay Court as in the rest of the group. The owners installed a brand new dance floor when they purchased the hotel and have been refurbishing and upgrading over the last three years. Please note that the majority of the rooms have walk in showers with no bath.

Paignton is in the centre of the The English Riviera, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and is ideally situated to explore this delightful and scenic coastline leading through to Teignmouth and Dawlish in one direction and with Dartmouth and Plymouth in the other. There is also much to see and do inland with Totnes, Dartmoor and Exmoor, and even the cathedral city of Exeter all within easy travelling distance.

We stayed for both the midweek and the weekend dance breaks which are excellent value for money. The hotel staff were very very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position for the seafront and town, the dance floor was a good size and smooth to dance on. Food was excellent and there was a very good choice each night. TWe really enjoyed the trip to the Corn Exchange in Exeter which was very well organised by Paul and Carole. All in all another great dancing experience.
