Not only a new partnership but we have secured two great dates to enjoy the nearby scenic countryside of Malvern and the Cotswolds
The first weekend after Easter and the first weekend in August.
This is a weekend holiday to treat yourself and your partner to 4-star experience, in fine surroundings, wonderful countryside to explore ….and of course dancing in the evening to the renowned Eden Nights music collection.
The Abbey hotel, is a discerning Grand old Hotel situated at the top of the hill, overlooking Malvern. There is an immediate feeling of warmth and comfort as you enter the hotel. We recommend you drop your cases at the door and then drive down to the spacious car park behind the hotel and return to check in.
Rooms and décor at the hotel are as you would expect for 4-star experience and Carole and I are entirely satisfied you will be comfortable in the elegant surroundings. All bathrooms have showers over the bath and are modern and pristine.
Breakfast (buffet) and Dinner at reserved tables in the double aspect light and airy restaurant will be served to your table with food choices at the table on the first night and nightly in advance for the rest of your stay. The menu choices we have seen look very appealing and reflect the overall experience of this fine hotel.
The ballroom has a lovely light open aspect with large windows down one side, the floor is surrounded by chairs and tables on all sides and the bar is just up some stairs in the same room. The dance floor is not huge so we will limit numbers to 25- 30 couples to ensure you have room to dance…. However, we are believe the dancing space will create a most suitable dancing ambience for our guests.
Finally, be advised, our agreement with hotel means we can offer the first 20 rooms at our quoted price, any rooms after that carry a premium of £20 per night per room, so please book early…. We cannot renegotiate any further concession on your holiday price…

The mid-week summer break at the Abbey Malvern coincided with a red heat weather warning. Notwithstanding the temperatures, the dancing went splendidly, in large measure because of Paul’s excellent compering, as he paced the sessions to match energy levels. On the last evening – the hottest of all – we all managed to go out with the traditional bang, yet without any casualties from heat stroke! It was masterful, Paul.
