Paul and Marie’s combined careers span over seventy years in both competitive dancing and teaching. Their teaching experience is with adults who wish to move for the sheer joy of dance but are looking for a little more than a “new step” to get around the floor. Still having regular training with some of the world’s best coaches, they value, practice for themselves and guide their students to an awareness of nonverbal communication within the couple which allows the partnership to develop enhanced floor craft, leading and following skills and freedom to break away from dancing set routines while still understanding the need for base patterns and amalgamations. Their unspoken remit is to always help the hobby dancer to be a little better and more confident at the end of any learning session than they were when the lesson started.
Relaxed, enjoyable weekend. Organisation & attention to detail first class. Tuition, music and ballroom of high standard.
Had a thoroughly lovely time. Plenty of room to dance on a wonderful floor to great music. Can’t wait until our next trip with Paul and Carole which will be to the sun. Didn’t see much of that in Street last weekend. The shopping made up for it though!
What a lovely way to spend Easter – great dancing and great friends!
All your teachers are very good but we found Paul and Marie’s ways of explaining technique particularly interesting and helpful.
Paul and Marie deliver incredible value in their lessons. It is so refreshing to have lessons where the focus is on the mechanics of dance (not steps) and dancing in harmony with your partner. The dancing on Saturday night, thanks to Paul and Marie’s input, felt amazing.
A most enjoyable holiday, dancing to great music on a fabulous dance floor, beautifully hosted by Paul & Carole, and with some high value Viennese waltz tuition from Paul and Marie as an added bonus.
