First tuition holiday we have experienced. 2 different but very passionate dance teaching couples. Very many ideas on improvements which we will definitely work on.

A packed schedule with self induced tiredness from so much dancing and fun socialising with many friendly fun couples to share time with. Having come home now comes the practicing to make us lucky dancers!

The mid-week summer break at the Abbey Malvern coincided with a red heat weather warning. Notwithstanding the temperatures, the dancing went splendidly, in large measure because of Paul’s excellent compering, as he paced the sessions to match energy levels. On the last evening – the hottest of all – we all managed to go out with the traditional bang, yet without any casualties from heat stroke! It was masterful, Paul.

Just to say thank you for a lovely break. Your attention to detail and welcome is always fantastic. We look forward to joining you again soon.

What a lovely way to spend Easter – great dancing and great friends!

We had a very enjoyable weekend. The hotel staff are all very welcoming and friendly and helpful, whilst the hotel is in need of a little refurbishment this did not impact on our enjoyment of the weekend. The weekend was well organised and as usual Paul’s choice of music in the evenings was brilliant. The dance tuition was well presented and pitched at a good level for the group. We would definitely recommend this dance break.

The food at this price of holiday was some of the best we’ve ever had.  Just perfect, Paul and Carole run the holiday like clockwork and provide world class ballroom tuition lessons with Mark and Olga.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Durrant, the staff were friendly and attentive, we enjoyed the room, the food but most of all the ballroom dancing classes with Mark and Olga, their cabaret and the evening dancing on a large floor to great music with happy enthusiastic dancers.

As regular visitors to the Wessex it was nice to see some new options on the menu. Enjoyed the mushroom starter, the chicken with chorizo sauce and the asiete of puddings

Steve & Debbie are excellent teachers. They covered a routine we always wanted to learn. The lessons were very enjoyable, easy to follow and retain and we will definitely use this routine again. Also very pleased they covered Rumba technique so thoroughly as well.

We found Steve and Debbie’s tuition for the social dance group to be well aimed and helpful. They are both friendly and fun. We would be happy to receive tuition from them again.

The organisation was up to its usual high standard. The tuition was excellent. Debbie and Steve were approachable and their teaching style relaxed and fun. They worked to peoples individual ability and constantly revised and reinforced the content of the lesson. The short warm up routine we found very helpful. We would be happy to attend more workshops with them.

The whole weekend was a delight, extremely well organised and the tuition was the best of all that we have experienced. Debbie & Steve were very thorough in their teaching, they were attentive, kind, fun and showed awareness of the ability of all.

As always, planning was immaculate, with attention to detail, taking account of personal needs and ensuring a relaxed, enjoyable experience for all. High quality tuition at any level enables one to gain valuable technique and attention to detail.

Great weekend, brilliantly organised and good value for money. Excellent tuition set at the right level.

The dance festival is such great value for money. The tuition is extremely helpful as are all the teachers who strive to organise their tuition around a variety of dance standards. They are all very patient and take time to answer any questions. The teachers also create an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere with constructive comments to improve technique.

They managed to include everyone regardless of experience or skill. We find the instructions in relation to balance and posture really useful to put with the steps. Bring able to record the video at the end is very useful.

We listened to Paul and only did 5 workshops which was really helpful to not get over tired.

We have experienced dance breaks twice before and this was no exception, very good organisation and arrangement of the dinner tables and dance classes very good. The dance teachers are superb, very helpful even when presented with challenging pupils!! who may not have understood first time what was being demonstrated, they were happy to go through the tuition several times to ensure everyone understood.

We came away having learnt some more dance technique and with smiles on our faces for having had a very comfortable stay in the hotel and enjoyed exploring the local area.

The tuition was excellent from both sets of coaches. Their guidance was both informative and entertaining and was tailored to the needs of the group. All the workshops were fun and were delivered so that everyone could take away something that improves their dancing.

We really enjoyed our weekend and wished we could stay on Monday! Our dance tuition was great, we particularly liked the chance to work on detail through steps we already knew – rather than trying to learn new steps as well. These finer details we are hoping to practice and move us forward with our dance techniques and confidence on the dance floor. All the teachers were so thorough and understanding, and also focused on individual couples too, which made it feel very bespoke and worthwhile. Thanks to them all.

Outstanding dance tuition. If you want to improve your dancing, this is a perfect opportunity. Paul and Marie, Lawrence and Emma were inspirational. We tried to absorb everything, but we are so glad we have the videos to work on now. The whole experience was invaluable. And Paul and Carole’s organisation and attention to detail meant everything ran like clockwork. Thank you all very much.

As always – consistently good music, with the range of dances carefully selected to suit the particular clientele on the night. Paul and Carole are lovely people who care about the satisfaction and well-being of the dancers. They take a pride in the quality of their holidays, which are consistently enjoyable.

The organisation was impeccable as always. Music, choice and sequencing of dances and pacing (between dances) were all spot on. The length of each evening session was well-judged. The tuition was exemplary. Paul and Marie’s presentation was clear and their demonstrations helpful. One to one interactions with dancers as they sought to replicate what was taught were very helpful and insightful. We had not been entirely clear, in advance, as to what to expect from tuition on “technique” and feared being overloaded with a mountain of new steps and figures to remember. In the event, Paul’s stripping back of technique to some fundamentals that we had not previously been taught proved a master stroke. The flexibility of the sessions, allowing us to spend more time than originally planned on rumba and chachachá was, for us, extremely helpful. We learned a lot and have much to work on!

We discovered Dancebreaks 2023 and have now enjoyed seven holidays in Carole and Paul’s safe hands. Their attentiveness to overall detail is exemplary as is their responsiveness to the needs of individual guests. It is no accident that we find ourselves re-encountering many of the same fellow-guests in a variety of different locations..

Dearest Carole and Paul, thank you both so much for our spontaneous weekend- it was absolutely brilliant. Saw your guests at breakfast all good and saying how much they enjoyed it. You two are so on top of things there is no doubt there is a good time waiting for us all and all we have to do is turn up and have a great time THANKYOU xx

This was our first time at the Livermead House Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I can see it becoming one of our favourites. We walked alongside the sea front into town in the morning and then enjoyed lunch back at hotel in their beautiful gardens. The silver service dining in the evening was a bit of a treat, with a good menu choices and high quality food. And to top it all off, we had two fabulous nights dancing on a good size dance floor.

Music wonderful as ever, thoroughly enjoyed all three nights of dancing.

Wonderful venue, Malvern is a must “go to” town. Interesting history, lovely area and good shops and eateries. We have booked to go again. Thank you Paul and Carole.

My first short break for a long time, so I was a little anxious. However, it was a truly lovely, reassuring experience in 1st class surroundings!

In spite of being under the weather we had a great time. The music was superb, Paul didn’t play a single track that I didn’t love. My only regret is that I didn’t have the breath for the faster dances – especially to some of the terrific quick step music. Great music, great company and a great time.

A big thank you for all your efforts to make Twixt such a really successful event! Lovely music, nice people, pleasant hotel with excellent food – the Christmas Dinner on Saturday was the best meal I think I have ever had there.  The high standard of dancing was lovely to see, and everyone that I talked to had enjoyed the tuition.  The apparently effortless success of the event takes a great deal of hard work on your part, and we wanted you to know how much everyone appreciated it.

Hope 2025 is another great year for you.

                Just a quick note to thank you and Carole once again for working so hard to deliver another exceptional dance break.  Deland also provided exceptional service managing to sort out our table for twelve when even we didn’t know if everyone was going to turn up.

For a short stay this could not be faulted, towels were change daily without being asked, which was unexpected.

Overall excellent, we had a thoroughly good time. The Durrant was looking resplendent in Christmas decor, the food fresh, hot, tasty, and quickly served. The ballroom is very lovely. As a relative beginner I found the tuition both challenging and immensely rewarding.

All your teachers are very good but we found Paul and Marie’s ways of explaining technique particularly interesting and helpful.

We had a brilliant time. Everything was well organised. There was great music and a friendly atmosphere. Paul and Carole are excellent hosts and lovely people. Congratulations on 25 years – it is clear why this milestone has been reached!

Paul and Marie deliver incredible value in their lessons. It is so refreshing to have lessons where the focus is on the mechanics of dance (not steps) and dancing in harmony with your partner. The dancing on Saturday night, thanks to Paul and Marie’s input, felt amazing.

This weekend was very enjoyable. The instruction and workshop sessions were perfect, concentrating on technique, delivered by two couples who matched their instruction to the participants. The evening dance sessions were equally enjoyable with great music and a good mix of ballroom, latin and sequence dances.

This was a dancing packed weekend, for those like us who love learning technique, learning a few new figures and enjoy a social dance in the evening to wonderful music I think this is the best we’ve experienced. We came away from the weekend having a sense we’ve learned lots of useful information, made improvements in our dancing and had a thoroughly good time. Thank you Paul and Carole for putting on this exceptional dance weekend.

Whilst appreciating the variety of tuition on offer necessitated a tight schedule, it would have been appreciated if more time was available between last session and the evening meal. The standard of the tuition was excellent. A relaxing weekend with first class tuition and enjoyable evening dancing. We both felt that we benefitted from the technique workshops, which were fun and informative.

All tuition was professionally delivered and was effective in improving our dancing.

A superb programme of workshops with first class tuition, especially Paul & Marie. So good to focus on technique, rather than just trying to memorise a routine. Far better format.

Maybe too much tuition as we wanted to do it all but didn’t have the energy! Excellent teachers and very enjoyable. An excellent weekend and well worth doing the tuition. Ladies wear practice shoes not heels!!!

Lovely hotel, clean and elegant with lots of comfortable seating. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of parking at the hotel. A very enjoyable holiday with a lovely atmosphere both on the dance floor and in the hotel. We had such a lovely weekend, we came home and booked the hotel again for next year.

The hotel is in a great spot in Whitby with a great view of the coast and Abbey. We enjoyed walking on the cliff top path and seeing the old town and harbour A good mix of ballroom and sequence dancing on a nice floor.

It’s amazing how you get everything so right! The whole experience, from booking to actual holiday was seamless. To be able to go away with such peace of mind is a rare luxury. Thankyou once again.

For the second time we had a wonderful holiday in Cyprus. 26° C on November 11th. Incredible. We appreciated the fact that Paul drove us to the airport when we departed though we were only two. Paul and Carole you are the best. To future guests : don’t hesitate to join this group.

A first class choice of hotel, but more importantly your organisation, care and attention to detail made it stress free. We enjoyed the holiday so much we have booked again for next year.

Fantastic quality of hotel, and with the All inclusive package proves to be a great value for money experience. The allocation of sun beds for the whole week was bizarre as many were empty (but reserved by other guests)and it was difficult to decide where you wanted to sit for the day from the map shown to you. A daily allocation would have worked better, so you could choose one day near the beach and the next poolside. Paul and Carol are excellent hosts and the dance floor was beautifully clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and will be booking again.

The dance tuition was amazing as a newbie I found both Paul and Marie excellent tutors, they were kind, explanatory, non judgemental more than willing to share their vast knowledge, I cannot praise them highly enough I just wish they held classes closer to Weymouth and could social dance with their students! Both the dancing, music and tuition were excellent, the hosts were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome no matter what their level of dance and the other attendees mixed well with everyone

We are not really sequence dancers but found that the evening dances had a good balance of sequence and ballroom/latin. Excellent lessons again by Paul and Marie. Lots of information to digest and put into practice.

Paul and Carole Eden hosted a fabulous weekend dance break with group tuition and cabaret from the top British ballroom professionals Mark and Olga Elsbury. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the holiday, the location, quality of accommodation, service and restaurant and the size and quality of dance floor at the Wessex hotel. Everyone on or supporting the holiday was friendly and we loved the professional ballroom tuition and cabaret which was of the highest standard. This weekend break holiday really suited us and we look forward to doing more of these in future.

Great music and dancing and, as usual, we had a lovely weekend. Very much enjoyed Paul & Marie’s tuition, gave technique information in a different way which, as my husband said, gave him a ‘light bulb moment’ allowing him to understand what had been missing from his dancing. Expectional teachers of the highest level and look forward to booking another holiday with Mark and Olga.  Just had a wonderful long weekend break. The Durrant hotel was easy to access and park, the room was spacious with new carpets, room was warm, plenty of hot water and very comfortable. Although Paul and Carole were stuck in Cyprus, Peter stepped in and gave us a warm welcome and good music. Nice balance of dancing between ballroom modern, Latin and sequence. The group lessons with Mark and Olga were exceptional which gave us a beautiful balance between routines and the technique. Their show was spell binding where we could sit back and watch the very best of UK dancing. All enjoyed with friendly like minded dancers and will definitely book again.

Considering the delay we had at the beginning Paul &Carole did an excellent job in the smooth running of our holiday. Its reassuring to know we are in safe hands. For our first dance holiday it was more than we hoped for. A lovely group and we didn’t feel inhibited. As first timers our apprehensions soon disappeared. The dancing experience was really good. There was no pressure, no expectations and a quiet efficiency about the table planning, information beforehand about timings, organisation of dancing groups and adjusting the amount of sequence dancing. The whole operation was excellent.

Had we seen the information showing the balance of dancing as 70% B&L and 30% sequence before we booked, we wouldn’t have booked on the trip. However, as your information goes on to say, you adjust to the dancers preferences. We were delighted that you were able to accommodate us with lots of sequence dances, as we don’t do Ballroom and Latin. Not only that but you even gave us a boogie to finish off the evening of the Ball. It felt like a party atmosphere. We really enjoyed each of the three evenings of dancing and felt very well looked after and catered for. Thank you both very much. We look forward to another of your dance breaks.

Being new to dance holidays I thought the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Having Carole always there when the dancing was on was brilliant. She went around seeing everybody to ensure all had a good time. Also keeping an eye out for anybody not in the group, may the ladies able to leave handbags in confidence. Paul planning the music was very good, ensuring the floor was busy, but not to full. Highly recommended, and already looking to book another weekend break. Personal service from the owners themselves on every holiday and very competitive pricing as well. 

Will definitely book the Whitby dance break again. Our room had a sea view across to the Abbey, just perfect for those sun rises and sun sets ! Lots of things to do in the surrounding area too

As Yvonne and I do not dance ballroom and latin regularly we find adding new routines to those we know is often quite tricky so we find Mark and Olga’s excellent technique tuition is particularly useful. Paul’s playlists always manage to strike an excellent balance between ballroom, latin and sequence. We even get to do some of our modern jive routines!

This was our first experience with you. The best compliment we can pay is already to have booked again. We often find we get quite tense when dancing in new and unfamiliar environments and company. The ambiance of the weekend was such, however, that we quickly relaxed and found our feet – even if they didn’t always comply with the instructions we were trying to give them!

We particularly enjoyed the music. It was great to experience dancing at The Corn Exchange. We thoroughly enjoyed our dance break at the Torbay Court Hotel with Paul and Carole and would definitely attend another dance break at this hotel

We stayed for both the midweek and the weekend dance breaks which are excellent value for money. The hotel staff were very very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position for the seafront and town, the dance floor was a good size and smooth to dance on. Food was excellent and there was a very good choice each night. TWe really enjoyed the trip to the Corn Exchange in Exeter which was very well organised by Paul and Carole. All in all another great dancing experience.

We were apprehensive that our lack of experience would cause a problem. However it didn’t matter at all. The tuition was excellent and the more experienced dancers went out of their way to help. A very enjoyable weekend.

This was our very first experience of a dancebreaks holiday. We are quite new social dancers and were worried about that, but we neeedn’t have been. Everyone was so friendly (not like some dance breaks we have been on where it is very “cliquey”. It was nice that e were on a table of eight people, (who were lovely) which helped make our holiday even more enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming. We went in January durng a very cold snap, and heaters were readily produced when we said our room was a bit cold. The ballroom was perfect and Paul and Carol were excellent hosts. I can recommend these breaks to new dancers – you will love it!

Another excellent weekend with Dancebreaks. Paul and Carole really go the extra mile to ensure you have a good holiday experience.

This was our third New Years dance break with Paul & Carol. The hotel staff were superb as were the rooms and restaurant meals. There were afternoon dances as well as three evenings of glitter, formal and fancy dress balls. There was a 50/50 mix of ballroom/Latin and popular sequence which kept everyone happily dancing throughout the holiday. For certain we’ll be back again.

A fantastic New Year weekend, again. We have holidayed with Dance Breaks since 2009 and the exemplary service and friendliness from Paul and Carole has never wavered. The tuition weekends we have been on, enabled me and my husband to become confident, competent dancers. I love the dance nights because the music is great, the company and new friends we make contribute to an inspiring experience. We have had the privilege of being taught by many dance professionals over the years with Dance Breaks. The choreography we have learnt is still part of our routines to this day. As always we look forward to our next holiday with Carole and Paul.

We couldn’t fault the Olympic Lagoon resort. Its a wonderful hotel, the staff, food and facilities are all excellent and we hope to return in November 2023.

Welcomed with the customary smile, refreshing drink and luggage taken care of. Everyone made us exceptionally welcome. The range of food on offer is truly exceptional. We enjoyed greatly the experiences of the Speciality Restaurants, once again the food and service was fantastic. Exceptionally attentive staff. Paul and Carol’s administrative planning ensures that the whole experience runs with the efficiency of a Swiss watch. Not only do they provide a wonderful holiday experience their geniality sets the tone for the group. This was undoubtedly our best ever holiday at the Olympic Lagoon and we look forward already to repeat next year. This was our fourth stay at the truly exceptional Olympic Lagoon Resort in Paphos. It was an exceptionally enjoyable ten day break enhanced by superb weather.

Everything thought of. We felt so well looked after, from airport transports to even extending our room until departure time. Thought and care of the highest standard. We have danced with Paul and Carole for many years, but this was our first holiday abroad with them. We were completely looked after, they have thought of everything to provide the perfect holiday and all information delivered clearly. The hotel is a piece of paradise and to be able to dance every evening whilst on holiday made it perfect.

Car parking was clearly explained on arrival at check in, check out was very easy. All staff were polite, helpful and well presented. Meal choices were varied and all that we chose VERY tasty. Room was great, spacious, clean and a wonderful view over Weymouth bay. Holiday was well organised, and very enjoyable.

The Royal at Weymouth is in a great seafront location – our spacious room had superb views through the large bay windows.

Our hosts Carol and Paul made us feel very welcome. This is the second dance break we have enjoyed with them and we can highly recommend Dance Breaks. The hotel was in a perfect position opposite the beach. The evening dancing was excellent and the music was excellent. We will look forward to another break with them.

We had a wonderful break in Bournemouth. The Durley Dean is a lovely hotel with great food and service and a very good location. The Tango tuition was brilliant and we learned a lot! Our hosts were very attentive and everybody was very friendly. A great weekend :)

The tuition was excellent! We loved the different approach to tuition this time and really felt we learned so much which we could carry forward. Instead of learning a long routine and steps that we would never remember after the weekend (or even the same evening!), we were taught ‘how to dance’! A simple tango figure but with emphasis on technique and how to use our bodies and to feel the music.Paul and Marie were wonderful – kind and encouraging giving us all personal attention. 3 workshops in one day was rather tiring so not sure we gave our best in the last one! Having the last one on the Sunday morning would have been better. But we loved it and hope to experience more of this style of tuition on future dance breaks. Thank you :)

This was our first and we only have Donaheys dance holidays to compare. This was better in terms of smaller teaching groups, more space on the dance floor. Very friendly and professional, we’d certainly book again in the future.

As always, the organisation of the holiday was excellent. All details were taken care of by Paul and Carole. Lawrence and Emma gave an inspirational workshop, we were very pleased with them. They were helpful, friendly and gave lots of useful advice, tips and ideas. Lots for us to take away and work on. We had a fabulous weekend with lots of friendly dancers, a great atmosphere. The workshops were pitched just right for each of the groups. Lawrence and Emma are first class teachers and dancers. What’s not to like. Time during the day to ‘do our own thing’ and this break we made the most of that visiting Dyffrn Gardens and the wonderful open air museum St Fagans as well as visits to the beach at Ogmore and walks to Ewenny Priory and Ogmore Castle. Then time to chat with our dinner companions followed by an evenings dancing each night to Pauls fab music. An excellent way to spend holiday time

Hotel room was superb, beautiful view – with a comfortable bed. Eastbourne by the pier was vibrant and lively. All the amenities were within walking distance, with some great local cafes. Don’t miss the sightseeing open top bus experience from the pier. Wonderful.

Second time with Dance Breaks and both have been excellent re booking, organisation, welcome and of course music. We have also book two more this year and are looking forward to both.

We keep coming back because Paul and Carole tick all the right boxes. They are tremendous value, well organised, totally enjoyable dance breaks. What more can one ask for?????

Staff were noticeably helpful – including bar staff, receptionists and restaurant staff.  Couldn’t fault the food and again. The best I have encountered on a dancebreaks holiday so far. 

The new year dance break was fantastic. Paul and Carole do such a lot to ensure everyone has a great time. The whole holiday was brilliant but the New Year’s Day tea dance and evening dance were the highlight of the holiday. The Wessex is a lovely hotel with a great dance floor.

Paul and Carole have again organised a dance experience which created a buoyant and happy mood. There was a lot of laughter at the dances with a great social atmosphere. We will be back

We had been put off attending the New Year holiday due to the requirement for fancy dress – however we are so pleased that we finally were persuaded to book. We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Fancy Dress costumes of all the guests.

Our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Dance tuition with Mark and Olga was superb. Evening dances were also splendid, as was the choice of music.

We loved everything about the weekend. You, (Paul & Carole) made our whole group of relative beginners (Blackpool Mob) so welcome. Mark is a marvellous teacher – we learnt so much – not just steps, but posture and control. With Olga we witnessed wonderful demonstrations. Well done!

It’s good to see Paul and Carole having dance breaks in the north of England.They both go out of there way to give you an excellent dance experience .The weather was not the best and they put on an extra tea dance which was appreciated by everyone .We are looking forward to booking again in the near future .

We experienced our very first dance break at The Abbey Sands Hotel and we loved every moment of it. It was well organised, the hotel was clean, the food was excellent and the service second to none. The tuition was also amazing and we have booked out 2nd break for Valentines Weekend in Street.

This was our third visit to the Olympic Lagoon Resort and it just gets better. The hotel is very well equipped, accommodation excellent and service is exemplary. Paul and Carol ensure that all the group feel welcome and unobtrusively promote a wonderful, amiable and pleasurable ambience where everyone, regardless of ability feel comfortable. The music and programme for dancing is judiciously chosen by Paul. Every aspect of the holiday is meticulously planned and delivered with apparent ease. Both Paul and Carol are very willing to go the ‘extra mile’ to enhance the enjoyment of the participants. We look forward to our next continental dance break with this expert and excellent company.

It was our first time away with Dancebreaks. Everything was very well organised and is geared to people having an enjoyable time. We really had a fabulous time and will definitely be booking another break in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend spent with the most beautiful, genuine people who have a joint love of music and dance. The dancing was fantastic. Following the 3 nights dancing and the tuition even though my feet were complaining the music was still telling me I needed to dance! And how many weekends would include tuition with the national ballroom champions? The greatest compliment is we literally cannot wait to do it again. The only dance break company we would recommend and are happy to do so.

We came for the dancing and it didn’t disappoint – we loved every minute! In fact after nearly 2 years of not being able to dance due to covid, I danced so much my feet were covered in blisters! Paul played a wonderful selection of dance music. The dance floor is incredible and we were able to enjoy trying to remember all our precovid steps. Very friendly other guests too. Thank you for a wonderful dance holiday.

Spent Twixmas and New Year with DanceBreaks. Had the most amazing time and so much fun and laughter over the six days. We have already booked both again for this year. Paul and Carol go above and beyond to make everyone welcome and the variety of music and dancing is fabulous.

An excellent retreat holiday in a beautiful location. The food choice, presentation and service were of a very high standard. The venue provided an informal and intimate dance experience which was thoroughly enjoyable. Although the dance floor was smaller than we are used to, this provided a good opportunity to develop our floorcraft. We would definitely recommend this venue.

Barry and I would like to thank you both for a lovely dance break in Dorset. We both enjoyed the dancing and meeting new people and meeting up with other dancers that meet before. The hotel was nice and the staff lovely and the food was really lovely comments to the chef.

The dance floor at the Wessex is one of the best we have danced on anywhere, As usual the music was up to a very good standard and encouraged you to dance even when you were flagging, we enjoyed the weekend especially with everything that has gone on in the past . Wonderful to be back dancing and Paul and Carol do their utmost to make it as enjoyable as possible.

We have been on many of Paul and Carols dance holidays both in the UK and abroad and can honestly say that every single one has been a joy. Hi Paul, just to say thanks a lot for another super weekend that we thoroughly enjoyed. Oh my word the Elsburys are divine from every aspect. I felt so privileged to be there as part of the skilled competent group. Group tuition doesn’t come better. Durrant House appeared perkier after lockdown. Glad they have survived well and are on the up. Staff tried so hard. Food was good and our bed was comfy. So all round happy bunnies. X

A very easy booking process. Paul keeps everyone up to date with any changes due to cancellations and provides all the information needed for booking into the hotel, dinner arrangements and timings. This is our third dance break at Durley Dean and another very enjoyable weekend. Despite a drop in the number of dancers attending due to late cancellations, Paul and Carol created a lively and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Paul and Carol and all the dancers who made it a fun experience.

This lovely dance break worked for us with great dancing, lovely music and enjoyable company all weekend. The hotel is good value, serving lovely food with willing staff who made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Not sure how you could improve this. You seem to have thought of everything. Very simple and straightforward. The way the finance is managed during these difficult covid times is exceptional, We had a great time, as always. Attention to detail by both Paul and Carole makes these dancing holidays excellent. Really enjoyed our first time with Paul & Carole great to dance with like minded people of differing ages and abilities.  Laurence & Emma’s tuition excellent time given to ensure everyone had got each sections steps before moving on and then going back to add a little technique where time allowed, love the routine we have been taught now it’s our job to practice practice practice.

The rooms, although quite small were beautifully presented. Fresh towels etc were brought everyday. It was quite easy to park in the streets close by. All the staff were very polite and helpful at all times.

I thought the joining instructions were such that it left me with no questions to ask. Very comprehensive. The dances were varied and the music was always nice to dance to and if not dancing to listen to. The hosts kept the tempo of the evening moving nicely throughout the evening. Friendly and fun.

First dance holiday for a while but worth the wait. Both hosts and attendees very friendly.

We love coming on your dance breaks and would do more but work commitments don’t allow that. Yes it would be nice if some were a bit nearer but as we usually extend the break by exploring the area we are going to we don’t mind travelling. Your music is fab and the fact that you limit the time dancing each evening means we can dance every night. Looking forward to seeing what’s on offer next year!!

Felt comfortable on the dance floor despite not dancing for over a year. Useful to have a practice area off the dance floor. Did not have any tuition. Some line dances would be nice but know not everyone likes them.

Given the circumstances with Covid, the dancing was excellent. Particularly liked the splitting of dancers into two groups to avoid an overcrowded dance floor

A warm, welcoming hotel where the food is good, service is excellent and attention to COVID protocols is very secure but unobtrusive. The programme for dancing was both thoughtful, stimulating and enhanced by Paul’s excellent music. All in all another most enjoyable and excellent value for money experience. Best dance tuition I have ever had, Well prepared and taught through lesson, and plenty of practice and reinforcement, which is overlooked in most lessons. Good that some are brave and resourceful enough to carry on at this time, or there would be nothing available for dancers

We are Fairly new to the Dancebreaks weekends. However the organisation, teaching and all hotel amenities were excellent. We were well looked after. We already are booked for future dance events.

Having worked with buildings I’m perhaps too critical, but I would describe the hotel as a rather tired 70s building that has had an internal cosmetic refurb. However the hotel was clean, warm, comfortable & everything worked. The food and the service were good in the restaurant, and the staff friendly and helpful. Staff and guests all followed corvid precautions with the exception of one couple who did not wear masks. There may have been a good reason for this, but if so we would have liked them to keep their distance more than they did on some occasions. Nine days after returning from the holiday we and our friends are all well. The ballroom was excellent, a real pleasure to dance after a break of seven months. The dancing was well organised and we felt safe on the dance floor. We are now planning our next dancebreaks.com holiday.

Very happy with the organisation which is very smoothly done now. Easy to see the possible holidays online and book accordingly and then see at a glance what I’ve booked. Music good, dance facilities good, social distancing arrangements good. Have booked another 7 breaks.

Loved every minute of holiday. We did not do tuition owing to timing, but would certainly do it next time. Thought the mix of ballroom and sequence was spot on and Paul played all the well known sequence dances so no one was left out, which was great. Bookings went smoothly, no problems at all. Everything explained professionally and timely. Great holiday, felt totally safe, everyone friendly and professional, so good to be dancing once again after so long. We did have serious concerns prior to the holiday but we felt very safe and comfortable with all the coved precautions. There was plenty of space in the ballroom and everyone respected each other’s space. A great holiday, so good to dance after 8 months even if we couldn’t always remember the steps. Another fantastic break with Dancebreaks.com. Paul and Carole have everything in control even in these unprecedented times. All regulations met to ensure this was a Covid safe environment. Everything carries risk at present but Durrant House and Dancebreaks we’re reassuringly thorough in their care and precautions. Lockdown had left our dancing a rusting remnant of what we expected, but it was good to take the first remedial steps in such a supportive setting. Thank you

Lovely to be able to get away from stresses of life and work in a hospital at these tough times to relax in beautiful scenery in Devon and get the chance to dress up and dance which is such a joy! It felt as safe as it could be in the ballroom – lots of space between couples and everyone very respectful of keeping apart. Great selection of music too! Thanks for helping us keep dancing safely

Lovely time as usual, wish we could have stayed for the Sunday night as well. The smaller group worked well for social distancing, felt safer dancing than walking down the street! Can’t wait for the next one.

August bank holiday weekend; our first dancing since March. How much will we have forgotten and how would Covid dancing work? Clear information (and instructions) from Paul gave confidence. The hotel was well organised and, while staff were masked, it all felt relaxed and welcoming. We could socially distance during the day and for the meals so that everyone could be comfortable with their space. The dancing worked really well as every couple was separated out around the sides and again could keep in their bubble if they wished. There was space on the dance floor and for the Saturday, when there were more dancers, for the popular dances half the group danced, then the other half to prevent any overcrowding. It was great to get the dance shoes on again although we will have trailed rust all over the floor. We felt comfortable and safe throughout, so well done 

Thank you again for organising a lovely weekend of dancing. We were very impressed with your attention to detail in order to make the event covid safe, Limiting the number of dancers, allowing us to sit at our own table to maintain social distancing made the whole experience more reassuring. The hotel also played its part in reducing the risk to us all whilst maintaining a high level of customer service. If anybody is feeling concerned about dancing again safely, I would like to reassure them that you have done everything possible to minimise the risk. It was great to be back dancing again and we are feeling much fitter and more energised as a result. We are looking forward to booking another weekend soon.

So glad you let us know about the Torquay weekend, we had a great time and loved the Abbeysands floor. The split group dancing worked really well; I think it made everyone feel comfortable that they were still maintaining distance and staying safe and it was clear the hotel were doing their best to maintain Covid guidelines as well. Whilst we were both keen to get back to dancing we weren’t sure how it was all going to work and whether the current situation may spoil our enjoyment but we had no need to worry as everything worked well and it felt like a wonderful bit of normality. Can’t wait to book another break.

We were delighted to be back dancing last weekend at Torquay. We found all the arrangements to be well thought out and can confirm that we felt perfectly safe. What a joy to get back to dancing after our enforced break and I can’t think of a better way to do it other than with Dancebreaks.com. Thoughtful planning and communication gave us lots of confidence. Feeling on a high after super weekend in lovely company. Food was delicious with good variety for that standard of English hotel. They are trying hard with customer service and it shows. Nice to find enthusiastic and happy staff compared to tired TLH. Always an indication of good management who value them.

The manager was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast food was excellent with a wide choice. Particularly the vegetarian sausages were of excellent quality and well cooked. The food was generally of good quality, well cooked and presented. One of the cleanest rooms we have had in this country.

Very impressive enthusiastic greeting, allocated parking and bags carried up to our room what more could we ask. Very good tasty food served quickly. Staff very attentive.

The staff were particularly pleasant and helpful, they really looked after us well. Could not have asked for better. We were wondering whether this year’s break would be as good as last year and in the event it proved every bit as good if not better. Friendly hosts and fellow guests too!

Numbers of dancers and floor size were well matched. No tuition on this break but we used the floor during the day for private practice. We thoroughly enjoyed our first venture into a dance break. We will do it again. Paul and Carole clearly understand their business and provide a first class experience.

Fantastic value – £99 for 4 nights! Rooms well appointed, food and service fantastic. Large dance floor, restriction on numbers so not over crowded, music choice was great and all 10 standard dances covered plus Argentine tango and sequence thrown in for good measure. – What was not to like! – Lets have some more UK Mon-Fri breaks.

We loved the dance evenings. Perfect balance of ballroom/latin/sequence. Music at 8pm followed by continuous dancing from 8.30 to 10.30 is perfect.

The staff were brilliant,as soon as the restaurant was made aware that I was celiac,each day my menu choices were given to me. I received excellent meals throughout my stay.  We had a wonderful time, the hotel was excellent and the dancing on the 5 evenings was brilliant.The holiday was easy to book and nothing was to much trouble when I phoned to make a query.

We’ve enjoyed our weekend away after the rush of Christmas. Paul and Carole take the whole hotel which creates a lovely friendly atmosphere. The hotel staff are excellent and the quality of food in this hotel is really very good. We will be booking again next year.

This was our first continental holiday with Paul and Carol , which lived-up to Paul’s glowing reviews! We were kept very well informed leading -up to the holiday including flight details From the minute we arrived at the airport where we were met by Paul and Carol we felt that nothing was too much trouble for them or the staff at the hotel.
The hotel itself was excellent. Rooms were spacious and well equipped and serviced well.. The hotel had a relaxed yet attentive atmosphere. The food was varied, with extensive choice at every meal. All the staff around the hotel were friendly and were happy to deal with any questions. The sea front position of the hotel lead onto a very pleasant walk into Paphos which was very interesting with various, historic sites. which we enjoyed visiting..
Finally, the whole holiday was superbly organised by both Paul and Carol and the evenings were rounded- off by Paul’s excellent dance experience. Thank you.

(Housekeeping) Clean and room was serviced every day, beds turned down at night. Nothing else you could possibly need.

The whole week ran very smoothly. We enjoyed relaxed days sightseeing or lazing bu the pool or beach. Dancing from 9.15pm to 11pm every night to well chosen variety of music for sequence and ballroom/Latin dancing. The floor was never overcrowded and neither felt empty. A few sing a long songs created a fun atmosphere. We sat with different people every evening and as often we find dancing people very sociable.

We found Lawrence and Emma brilliant teachers. We were so pleased to have separate videos of both the male and female steps, which perfectly show alignment etc, as well as the routine as a couple. So impressed at the level of content too. Will definitely book another weekend with Lawrence and Emma. We found both the Friday and Saturday evening dances full of energy and great atmosphere, and loved all the music, thank you

The arrival at The Olympic Lagoon Resort was immediately 5 star being greeted by the Meet and Greet Team with a refreshing drink and a refreshing flannel for our hands.

Our room was a fantastic experience with a fridge full of soft drinks, water and a few lovely nibbles. Beautiful furnishings and a lovely view. The staff at the Resort couldn’t have done anything more us. Plenty of food and drink and the all inclusive experience was a fantastic treat. To finish off this great experience our hosts Paul and Carole gave us some delightful dancing and meeting new friends. Certainly a luxury 5 star holiday. Well done Paul and Carole and thank you for a lovely holiday.

Having recommended this Dancebreaks to so many of our dancing friends, we wanted to let you know that our second visit lived up to our high expectations.

We had a relaxing week, with excellent food, exceptional music for dancing and good company. Once again, the dancefloor was well prepared for our use. There was a lovely atmosphere, with the whole group of dancers mixing well and making new friends. All the hotel staff were friendly and made the dancers feel very welcome. They were attentive and looked after us all, we were thoroughly spoilt. We shall definitely be going to Paphos again, this hotel is a real gem.

We were pleased to find an excellent choice of coach excursions, all from the easily accessible bus/coach station to places of interest, and at a very reasonable cost.

Many thanks for a most wonderful holiday last week. The hotel was perfect in all aspects of provision but especially the high quality of service we received from the dedicated staff. Your dance programme, as always, fully engaged us and was most enjoyable. It was really good to interact with so many lovely fellow guests, including five people outside of our group whom we met on the jeep safari!. Our criteria for a top quality holiday were amply fulfilled so much so that we would like to commit to the same holiday again in ?March 2020 and in order to free up the month we have this very morning cancelled a holiday we had already booked!

Thank you for a lovely weekend at the Wessex. It was truly amazing. Lovely people, great food and most of all fantastic music. Dancers have to FEEL the music to dance and you certainly provide that. The most outstanding memory for me is the music that Paul played for the Catherine waltz – Hallelujah instrumental. The hairs on my arms prickled! We laughed and danced and had fun – what more could we ask for? 

All the hotel staff were extremely helpful. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble. Exceptionally good staff. The vegetarian food was varied and thoughtful. Food was cooked to a good standard and well presented. Staff ensured that we were well looked after. Booking was easily done online.

Thank you Paul and Carole for this welcome break just after Christmas. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere in the hotel, as all of the guests were part of the dancebreaks group. The dancefloor was a good size, the music was of the usual excellent standard and the mix of sequence, ballroom and latin dances was just right. The finger buffet was exceptional. Wonderful chef and kitchen staff. Many thanks to all. Not all the music was entirely to our taste but on the whole we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We prefer one track in each dance rather than two ideally, however it was a great 50/50 mix on balance and a real nice atmosphere. Well looked after by Paul and Carol all through. Thought it was a great idea to have fancy dress on last night. 

The staff were always on hand and always very helpful and polite.The standard and presentation of the food this year was absolutely wonderful. Considering the restaurant was very full and busy, we thought the staff were amazing. The rooms were serviced quickly and well and we never had to wait for it to be done. As always, a first class job. Carole and Paul always work so hard to make sure we all enjoy ourselves…thank you SO much, it really is appreciated

Paul and Carole made us very welcome from the start. The music was excellent they were very good company. We particularly liked the fact that Paul got on with the music and dancing and didn’t waste time between numbers. The dancing was most enjoyable. The restaurant had loads of choice and nicely prepared and presented.

Paul, I just wanted to say how much my wife and I enjoyed our Paphos holiday last week. So much so that we have already booked again for next November. The hotel was outstanding and the music and dancing were just right. Everything was well organised and our overall enjoyment was in no small part thanks to you and Carole. I have filled in your questionnaire/review but I wanted to add this personal thank you as well. 

Paul – the dance experience was up to your usual high standard. The reception staff and porters were so very welcoming and the check in process was very quick and efficient. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful – from chambermaids to clearing table staff and everyone in between. An amazing range of food of excellent quality was provided on a daily basis. Very attentive staff – clearing plates promptly and offering drinks. The towels were changed daily – even though we had hung them up so they could be re-used as advised on the leaflet in the bathroom. The water and coffee facilities were always restocked as were the bathroom items. I was very impressed with the quality of the shampoo, shower gel etc. The size of our room and the storage space was excellent. We loved the pools, the comfortable sunbeds and the extensive cocktail menu. We were delighted that you took the trouble to meet us at the airport – a great start to our holiday – thanks again.

Booking was done online. Itinerary and all relevant info was emailed to us. Carole & Paul even met us at Phaphos airport! We especially like the temperature in March & November 70-75f so sunny, but not exhausting. Ideal for people who enjoy excursions. Convenient tour office, taxi & car hire just a few yards from hotel entrance. Small area of beach overlooking sea at bottom of hotel gardens. Plenty of sun beds provided. Local bus service 5 euros for all day ticket. This hotel is ideal for anyone who wants a really relaxing holiday with dancing in the evening, but for the more active there are indoor/outdoor pools, tennis courts (all included in price). Golf course a short journey away (extra) and other local attractions which reception staff can advise on if asked.  Iced, freshly made lemonade and hot flannels at reception were unexpected but very welcomed and appreciated. Waiters are constantly checking for any requirements both in the restaurants and the garden areas so there is never any real wait for service. Chambermaids routinely call to check if anything needed. Biggest choice of dishes and foodstuffs we have ever come across. Chefs on hand to advise ingredients etc . Self service gives maximum options, eg 2 starters and no dessert if desired. Also ,mixing & matching from a range of different dishes seemed to be popular with guests, as was taking tiny portions as ‘tasters’. All dietary needs seem to be well catered for and staff are happy to confirm contents and cooking methods of dishes if necessary. Rooms cleaned and checked twice a day. Staff always accessible somewhere on the floor level if needed. Bottle of water in fridge and tea /coffee making items automatically topped up when used and if more is needed it is cheerfully provided.

Having Paul and Carole meet us on arrival at the airport was a lovely personal touch. The number of dances and the length of each session was just right. The room used for the dancing and the condition of the floor was really good.We were very impressed with the quality and variety of vegetarian dishes available at every meal. There was always plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and salads to choose from.

Tuition was very well delivered – relaxed and friendly. Good music for dancing and we liked the mix of ballroom/Latin and sequence.

Having trained teachers and assessors in the past I was very happy. The subject was well introduced. The parts were well broken down into easily teachable sections with each section introduced by a demo and finished with a demo. Final section was well rounded off with emphasis on key points, extra detail and of course a well summarised demo of individual steps, slow walk through and full speed demo.

We have been using Dance Breaks for a number of years now for weekend breaks but this as our first holiday abroad. As always Paul and Carole made sure that our holiday was completely stress free and arranged everything from the flights to the transfers. I wanted to write to express my delight at the most enjoyable weekend I have just spent at the Durrant Hotel, Bideford.
Your stand in host Peter Tebby was a pleasure to meet and I thoroughly enjoyed his choice of music. Many thanks to him and Christine for being such friendly pleasant hosts, and for the wealth of knowledge that he was imparting to me.

The highlight of the weekend was the dance tuition from Mark and Olga. Their charm and professionalism was second to none, and the classes gave us some wonderful figures to put into our routine.

The best moment for me was when Mark, whilst doing their demonstration of the Viennese waltz, chose me to partner him for a wonderful turn on the dance floor.
It was my birthday weekend, which made it all the more special, and I was riding high for the whole of the stay.

Just wanted to drop a line to thank you for our dance weekend at Street. We know this is hard work for you both and didn’t want you to think it wasn’t appreciated.  We know The Wessex is not a top dollar hotel but then we don’t pay top dollar prices and it gives us a bed to sleep in and food to eat which we have always found adequate for our needs.  The one thing it has that is really good is the dance floor which on its own is of no use without good music to dance to and you give us this. We hope to see you again in the not too distant future. We celebrated a birthday during this holiday and the hotel placed a bottle of sweet wine, chocolates and a card in the room – a lovely touch. Smooth, hassle free transfers; just the right level of resort information on arrival and a bonus day trip to Benidorm made the days interesting and stress free and of course Paul’s fabulous music library and full dance programme are always spot on.

Following our recent break with Dancebreaks, my wife Vera, and I would like to express our gratitude for the hard work, you both carry out, organising a delightful break.

We are new to dancing (less than a year) and decided to ‘have a go’ at the event, although we were a bit apprehensive as what to expect, with regards to the quality of dancing.

Vera and I considered the accommodation, the food, the spa facilities, and the teaching by the professionals to be a great value; the three evenings of dancing was an added bonus with a large group of welcoming, helpful and like-minded couples.

We have been so pleased with the event, we have already paid our deposit for December 2018.

We all thought that all dance related matters were run very well and we enjoyed the demonstration of the Argentine Tango. Some of us wish we had the body shape to do the dance justice! In particular I would like to complement you on the choice of music and the balance between ballroom and sequence. You promised this would not be an issue and you were as good as your word.

For the most part we found the hotel excellent. The service from the staff was exceptional and the food was excellent especially taking into account the fact that there were so many diners.

A well run weekend with a good dance floor. Excellent value for money. We will come back.

We have been to the Piccadilly Hotel and the Wessex Hotel in Bournemouth over the years and also to Eastbourne but this was certainly one of the best. The number was just right for the size of the hall and the music was brilliant!! As a party of 12 we all had an amazing time. For those of us who have been before, it was a shame that you and us were let down by the professionals as we all like to learn new things. We would just like to say that we really enjoyed our recent Dance Break at the Celtic Royal, in Caernarfon. The booking process on your website is simple and straightforward leaving us free to turn up and do our dancing. We very much like the selection of music you play, and is perfect for all the dances. It’s really good fun. It is also nice to meet like minded people. This hotel was very clean and comfortable and the food excellent.

Another high-value and low cost weekend from Paul and Carol at Dancebreaks.  The floor at Wessex was magnificent and the music unrelentingly good.  We saw some old friends and enjoyed meeting new people.  The hotel is slowly getting better at what it does and the staff are very good.

Heronston is a very pleasant hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious.
The ballroom is a particular delight having a lovely ambience. The dance floor is excellent with adequate room for the number of couples. And of course, as always the music was of the highest quality.
We look forward to returning to Heronston soon!

The organisation of the event was first class. Even though we are newcomers to ballroom dancing, we were made to feel very welcome and included and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, especially the cabaret and tuition which were superb. Carole and Paul are great hosts and work very hard to make sure everyone has a really good time.

We really enjoyed our weekend. It was a real treat, particularly the tuition which was fantastic. So much so that we are now looking for dance club that will enable us to learn some sequence dancing for when when we return for another dance break!

A really good hotel in an excellent position on Sandown seafront. Good food, relaxing lounge area and lovely ballroom. Evening dancing to good music in a relaxed format.

It was good to be able to video Ryan and Oleisa who gave us a challenging routine in the waltz which we hope to master for future events. Guidance on body posture and driving leg was valuble. The decor of the ballroom is beautiful and enhances the ambience the masquerade ball. Thank you for a wonderful break with wonderful people – looking forward to our next Dance Breaks break.

Thank you for a wonderful Valentine’s weekend at the Wessex Hotel. From past holidays we’ve had very mixed feelings about the hotel but choose dance holidays there because of the tuition, ballroom, meeting with friends and acquaintances and of course Paul’s varied selection of music. On this holiday we were impressed by the overall improvement in standards throughout the hotel – service, food quality, housekeeping and a very warm welcome on check-in.

Special thanks to Cheryl and Chris for their amazing tuition – such a wonderful romantic rumba routine ……. looking forward to dancing it for them on our next tuition holiday especially to the Andre Bottcelli number ……… Paul’s music was inspiring!

Just to let you know we have played the DVD and all OK…….great investment and we have now booked the local hall to Practice.

Firstly thank you for a lovely holiday at Bideford. The hotel is lovely and the tuition was excellent and although we ended very tired we had a wonderful time.

You asked for feedback on the DVD. We have watched the first half and found it to be really good. It will give us things to work on for quite a time and the instruction is very clear and precise, exactly what we would expect from Warren and Kristi and just as their Masterclasses were. We agree with you that this DVD is excellent value for money and reminds us of what we were taught, most of which of course we would have forgotten by now. With tuition of this standard we believe it a very good idea to run this system of recording and providing a DVD as it is not possible to take in everything we are shown and it avoids the arguments!!

Having spent some time enjoying watching Warren & Kristi’s tuition DVD as you suggested, I have to say that I am so pleased with my purchase, returning time and again to clear up some query or simply to enjoy “being there” again. Their teaching is superb and inspirational with great detail explained with patience and enthusiasm.

We received the DVD a few days ago and, already, it has been played several times. It is amazing how quickly one forgets the steps and even the timing, let alone the finer points of style and technique. This video is enabling us to revisit the difficult parts time and time again. The facility to run it in slow motion is particularly helpful in absorbing technique. We will definitely be adding these figures to our repertoire but, more importantly, we hope to impove our waltz and quickstep in general by application of the valuable style and technique lessons. The organisation of the DVD into chapters was very helpful and was an excellent aid to navigation. We thought the £25 was a tad expensive, but nevertheless, very worthwhile as the DVD will serve to ‘lock in’ what we learnt on the holiday. We will definitely be purchasing a DVD on next year’s holiday, so please continue to offer it!

We’ve just got back from Bournemouth after a wonderful weekend of dancing. The hotel was gook and Ryan and Olesia provided us with a wonderful demonstration on Saturday night and some challenging and very interesting workshops. The music throughout the weekend provided by Peter was second to none.

Just wanted to let you know how very much we appreciated the DVD that you sent us of Warren and Kristi. It was very good and we are so delighted that we decided to buy it. We also had a very, very good time at the Carrington House Hotel – All in all a lovely experience.

We were delighted to receive the Rumba DVD which so clearly captures the entire routine. Cheryl and Chris are great tutors. Excellent value and we now look forward to future periods of instruction and the ensuing DVDs.

Thank you for a great welcome to Dance Breaks. As ballroom dancers, when we booked for the Hey Festival Finale Weekend at the Paddocks Hotel we were not too sure what to expect; however, after meeting you at the reception on Friday evening we felt assured that we would enjoy the break.
As you promised, there was plenty of room on the floor and the music was exceptionally good; in fact it invited you to step onto the floor and dance your best. And although ballroom is our forte we were up for nearly all the dances. Superb hosts created a great atmosphere which was thoroughly enjoyable – a great start.

Rod and I would just like to thank you for a wonderful August Bank Holiday weekend at the Paddocks. This was our first holiday with you and certainly will not be our last, we had a great time, the hotel, food dancing, and company were all excellent. Thank you again for a lovely time and we are looking forward to seeing the dates for your future breaks so we can come again.

Just had to write to tell you once again how much we enjoyed our holiday in Calpe. It was just what we needed: the perfect combination of relaxation & time to ourselves during the day, and our favourite form of entertainment in the evenings – dancing. All this combined with the company of a great & varied bunch of fellow dancers, great music, a good hotel, lovely surroundings and superb weather. All in all a holiday we will never forget!

What a great break, blue skies and sunshine in January, walking in the beautiful countryside in the morning, relaxing in the spa in the afternoon, and then dancing to inspiring music in the evening. What more could anyone want – only to do it all again next year!

A few days in the sun away from our winter is always good, added to this the evenings spent in the company of other dancers and using the excellent floor at the Diamante Beach Hotel was a treat. The whole experience (including the use of the spa pool) had a real feel good factor. We immediately booked for the next year and will be looking forward to seeing again some newly made friends.

We have just returned from our weekend with you at the Wessex Hotel in Street. We want you both to know how much we enjoyed ourselves. We also enjoyed the food and the company and as always the wonderful music. The selection played on Saturday night was particularly inspiring. At Alicante Airport, meeting old friends from Paul & Carole ‘s Kilkenny break, got our holiday off to a good start. The Diamante Beach Hotel restaurant is excellent. We spent 3 mornings in the Diamante Spa . Which set us up for exploring Calpe in the afternoons. Depending on how energetic the evenings dancing . We also had the option of walking up to the nature reserve on the promontory above the town. The Diamante dance floor is ballroom size . Allowing for the full Quickstep dash without hindrance. Or for 30 couples to promenade a sequence. And Paul’s selection of music guarantees a lively evening. We look forward to Calpe 2013.

You deserve commendation for the new catalogue – much easier to read and search thru and the pull out list of all the events is very useful.
