The East Beach Hotal is a compact homely 32-bedroom private owner, 3-star quality hotel, situated on the esplanade just down from the Pier…..
Entrance to the hotel is from the seafront directly into reception with a comfortable lounge filled with soft furnishings to the left and the restaurant to the right….. Additional seating is available in a foyer which catches the sun in the mornings and early afternoon. The cosy foyer stetches right across the front of the hotel and there are further tables/chairs outside from where you can sit and enjoy a relaxing drink and watch the world go by. There is a further small basement function room downstairs.
The light and airy restaurant comfortably seats 60 and serves traditional 3-star food and is brought to order to your table (including breakfast) by some very friendly and helpful staff and Carole and I are entirely satisfied you will enjoy the home cooked nature of chef’s food. Lunch/ light snacks, if desired can be purchased from midday.
Carole has reviewed all the hotels bedrooms, and you will find the beds comfortable, the rooms are immaculately presented by a very caring lady proprietor and the bathrooms are modern and clinically clean.
Our overall view is this is very much a home from home venue, and we think our guests will enjoy the easy and comfortable nature of their surroundings, whilst enjoying their evening dancing at the magnificent Eastbourne Town Hall every Friday and Sat night… There will be the opportunity to enjoy a further night at leisure if you would like to stay for three nights. Please advise office when booking.
Dancers, as with 90% of the hotels in Eastbourne, the hotel has no private parking, but on street parking down the side and behind the hotel, is available free of charge. The hotel can also provide you with a parking permit £2 a day to park on the esplanade directly in front of the hotel obviously subject to availability, but they assure us that early arrivals are usually able to find car parking more accessible.
