Ballroom and Latin Dance Holidays

Ballroom and Latin dance holidays are just like any other holiday, but include optional dancing, usually in the daytime…and every night! Plus you enjoy the company of other like minded people with the same interest in dancing. Carole and I are dancers ourselves, so we know what dancers want and what makes a dance holiday special.

Year Round Choice of Holidays for Ballroom and Latin Dancers

With around 40 dance holidays… we host holidays for Ballroom and Latin dancing every month of the year. We often have late availability for holidays which means you can book a ballroom holiday at very short notice or plan ahead for a trip later in the year.

UK Ballroom and Latin Holiday Destinations

We have a dozen destinations across England so if you are looking for a holiday that is near or a little further afield, there will be holidays to suit your preference and budget. Some ballroom and latin dance holidays are weekend breaks, others in the mid-week and some are a week or longer.

European Ballroom and Latin Holiday Destinations

Sometimes a holiday just isn’t a holiday without plenty of sunshine so we have six different European destinations where you can get your fill of sun, fun and in the day and dancing in the evenings. We have both British dance holidays and dance holidays abroad throughout the year.

Superb Ballroom and Latin Music

We are major investors in music and pride ourselves on having not only the best, but also the most up-to-date and extensive ballroom and Latin music choices at our dances. We are always acquiring new music and only play the most infectious Latin ….and stunning and beautiful ballroom tracks. However tired you are, you will find it difficult to resist dancing to our music choices…

Plenty of Room on the Ballroom Floor

We never overbook our events and work hard to ensure the perfect balance between giving everyone plenty of room on the dance floor whilst maintaining a busy and social atmosphere at our events. Our venues are chosen for the quality of the ballroom facilities, because dance space is of primary importance for our holidays.

Dancing Dancing Dancing

There is dancing every night on our 2,3 & 4 night getaways and on the majority of nights of our longer holidays. Many of our UK holidays include optional free tuition, and on most holidays the ballroom is usually available at appropriate times during the day for people who want to practice what they have been taught. In fact there is so much dancing on the holidays, it can be hard to find time and energy to go sight seeing or do many of the other things available at our destinations.

The Company of other Dancers

We always begin holidays with a sherry reception as an opportunity for us to meet our guests and for you to meet other guests on the same holiday. Our holidays include evening meals and breakfast, so there is also plenty of time to socialise with your fellow dancers. It is satisfying that so many of our guests make new friends on our holidays and often arrange to go on future dance holidays together.

Ballroom Latin and Sequence Dancing

We always have a proportionate mix of Ballroom and Latin and sequence dancing on all our evening dances. Because we know from your booking form what our overall guests dance preferences are, much of the evening dance program is tailored to suit the particular holiday and preference of the guests. Holidays with a particular type of tuition may influence the frequency and type of dances that we will play in the evenings.

Embark on a magical cruise to Germany and Denmark and experience the fun, festivity and flavours of some of Europe’s very best Christmas markets. In eight nights you’ll visit three charming cities, each offering an enchanting experience at the most wonderful time of the year. In Germany you’ll take in the yuletide delights of Bremen and Hamburg, and spend two days sailing along the Kiel Canal; while in Denmark you’ll enjoy a full day in Copenhagen, savouring the welcoming festive atmosphere of the capital.

Bremen, Germany. Set on the River Weser, our fleet of smaller ships are amongst only a few cruise vessels that can call at Bremen, with larger ships having to stop several miles away at Bremerhaven. We can sail all the way along the river into the heart of the city, so guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery, before stepping ashore to explore. Once a member of the Hanseatic League, Bremen is home to some incredible Gothic architecture. The Marktplatz (Market Square) in particular is a must-visit site. Here you will find the Town Hall of Bremen, a gothic structure originally built between 1405 and 1410. This UNESCO World Heritage Site currently hosts a restaurant with original Hanseatic era décor and the Bremer Ratskeller, a public house in the basement. The Town Hall is also home to the 12 oldest wines in the world. In contrast, Überseestadt – the former docklands – offers a completely different experience and is a fine example of modern Bremen. Here you will find a selection of trendy bars, stylish cafes and fine restaurants to enjoy, as well as beautiful harbour and yacht-filled marina.

Copenhagen, Denmark. With its vibrant, friendly atmosphere, wonderful culture and beautiful architecture, Copenhagen is a Scandinavian tourist haven. The narrow, cosmopolitan streets are always busy with welcoming locals and are lined with colourful cafes, bars, shops and places to eat. Visiting Copenhagen is always an exciting, enjoyable experience. Much of Copenhagen’s most interesting and most popular tourist destinations are either within the city centre or are a short walk away, so there is always something to see or experience. Must-visit attractions include the historic Christianborg and Amelienborg Palaces, The Little Mermaid sculpture at Langelinje Pier, Kronborg Castle and Rosenborg Castle.Nyhavn – Copenhagen’s 17th century waterfront and canal – is where you will find many brightly coloured 17th and 18th century townhouses that have been converted into bars and restaurants and many wooden ships in the historic harbour. There are also several galleries, museums, a zoo and an aquarium for you to enjoy and explore. There is a never a dull day in the Danish capital.

Hamburg, Germany. There’s water everywhere here in Germany’s principal port – from the Alster Lake to a web of canals and waterways spanned by 1,000 bridges.Located on the River Elbe some 70 miles from the North Sea and home to the country’s largest port, Hamburg is regarded as Germany’s gateway to the world. A vibrant, busy and historic city boasting an impressive Hanseatic League heritage that harks back over 700 years, Hamburg is one of Germany’s most interesting tourist destinations. A city that cherishes its long history and traditions, Hamburg is awash with beautiful historic buildings and monuments that are typical of Hanseatic culture. The steeple of St. Nikolai – a church almost completely destroyed in World War Two, the 17th century Zollenbrücke Bridge and Hamburg Rathaus are must-visit sites. In the city centre, you will discover the flourishing commercial dynamo of stylish shops, excellent restaurants and legendary nightlife – a celebration of modern, cosmopolitan Hamburg. At the city’s vibrant waterfront district there’s plenty to see and enjoy too. Discover an array of lively bars and restaurants at the harbour, watch Europe’s second largest port in action or head to HafenCity, a newly developed urban quarter.
