  TWIXT CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR

Many years ago, we used to host the Twixt holiday at the Carrington hotel in Bournemouth, but regrettably Britannia hotels (low end budget volume brand) purchased the venue, and the food and other standards dropped, dramatically. I mention this only because we were previously able to offer this much loved break at a very competitive rate and as a result of their large floor, we often sold 55-65 rooms so there was always a good crowd and a fabulous atmosphere. We achieved a similar atmosphere at the Durley Dean, but were restricted to significantly less numbers because of the size of the floor. However, the good news is…. many of you will know of the success of New Year at the Wessex Hotel in Street, as well as many other feature breaks, Valentines etc.  The food there is now receiving consistent positive reviews and of course the dance floor is probably the best hotel floor in the South West!?    Ideal, for celebration dance party weekend!!??
T
The hotel has invited us to to take the whole hotel at Twixt from this year and as it has 50 rooms available, we have decided to move from Bournemouth and expand and develop the Twixt break into a major packed Itinerary party event similar to New year? So for those still on the waiting list for New year you can have another option?
